I love kids. That's why I teach, that's why I cook, they deserve the best!
Our Tribe
I struggled with unrecognized Post-Traumatic Stress and ADHD in school, which led to stress, anxiety, and underachievement. I could not run freely in the fields.

At each juncture, I struggled without help, without hope.

But as life has a habit of doing, miracles showed up at critical junctures: a great sixth-grade teacher, a coach who fed my fastball dreams, and a sympathetic college professor.

At some point, I gave up on doing what society demanded of me; I wrote, danced, played tennis, played The Great American Songbook, ate for energy, and achieved.

It is why I have taught that kid who, like me, hid behind everything, who was convinced that they would fail, but kept getting each time they fell.

I teach because it is a beautiful profession, offering me an opportunity to provide the Phoenix-like rising that I have been privileged to experience! It is the calling that lets me free the dance of the field in each of my students.
