Quinoa/Tempeh Burger with a Sweet/Sour Lemon, Tahini, Apple Juice Sauce


Ingredients:

1 Cup Cooked Quinoa

1 Cup Finely Chopped Tempeh

1 Teaspoon Lemon Mist

1/4 C Gluten-Free Flour

1/2 Carrot Finely Sliced

1" Red Chili (not hot)

2 Eggs or if you know how to make it 3 T Flaxseed Oil


Sauce:

2 Tablespoons of Tahini

3 Tablespoons of Apple Juice

1 teaspoon of Mustard

2 Shakes of Tamari


Directions:

Combine all top ingredients and mix thoroughly. Fry in a fry pan until lightly browned or bake in the oven (7 minutes baking - it's almost always better fried.)


Sauce:

Combine ingredients in a pan, slowly simmer until most of the juice has disappeared and it's a little like a syrup.


Combine and levitate towards heaven!!
